About the Design

Karyn Jimenez-Elliott (she/her) Designer and professor in Providence, Rhode Island. I chose to create a stylized illustration with custom typography that took the shape of a uterus. I made a conscious decision to stay clear of the expected, overly feminine color palette; instead I chose to incorporate energetic, bold colors including green, a color associated with abortion justice.

The United States for Abortion project calls on designers from all 50 states plus Washington D.C. and Puerto Rico to create artwork in support of the right to safe and legal abortion for all. www.usforabortion.org
